Before Bernhard Mikulski discovered Italo Disco, he reissued Popol Vuh records or released Trips und Träume. Maybe he thought of Heads Or Tails as a follow up to the success of Witthüser & Westrup. Well that might have worked if they would have switched the sides. Yes, the B-Side holds the jewels. Sadly hardly anyone made it there... Apart from the mellow cuts Yvonne and Aurora there are these acoustic versions of Zappa classics Montana (from Overnite Sensation) and Blessed Relief (from the Grand Wazoo) that made my jaw drop       gently...

What the hell did the people at Marlboro (yes the stupid cowboy ciggies) think when they teamed up with Virgin to establish a label and sign someone so gentle and esoteric like Andreas von Wangenheim? Change the whole cowboy image by releasing New Age music??

Whatever they thought - it's just fantastic that they released these wonderful songs. Calling it All killer, no filler doesn't really fit the New Age vibe, huh? But hey it's Marlboro :) and it's shotgun recommended!
