I recommend to buy every Chico Hamilton record that you can get a hold of. That dude has golden hands. From his psychedelic & latin jazz days in the 60s (check Head Hunters or El Chico) to the 70s Jazz-Funk era he produced a fat sack of fantastic tunes. This release from 1980 is the CHERRY ON TOP.  Why? Because of it's tenderness. A new side in Chico's oeuvre. There are so many beauties featured on the LP - not easy to pick faves for the soundclip...
