Folk-Jazz? Mmh, maybe it sounds more like a mix of Jazz and Progressive. Probably the intense use of the flute gives me that folky feel. Ad Libitum are actually playing with various styles on their only album. On side A we find mostly covers. Two Focus compositions (House Of The King, Anonymus- Janis-Anonymus), one by Ekseption (Rondo Alla Turka), a great flute lead Take Five rework as well as a surprisingly good cover of Stevie Wonder's You Are The Sunshine Of My Life. On the b-side there 's just one: Blood Sweat and Tear's Sometimes in Winter. The remaining four tunes are self penned. And these are the secret hits of the album. My fave is Ottochen's Mondfahrt. Starts off very "jazzy" played over an uptempo disco beat, breaking down into a desert storm like synth & electric piano part - yet returning to the uptempo flute disco again. Visionen and Persischer Markt are highlights as well.

One of the hardest to find german private press Elektronik LPs. TOm Und CHarly from Bavaria recorded this deep and trippy album in 1980. It's basically synths and drums. The sound is deep and will appeal to friends of the drone. At times it reminds me of Wolfgang Bock's Cycles but the atmosphere in Traumwerk is darker.

Hard to find Electronics by these two Krautrock veterans. Klaus Nagel played with Joy Unlimited!  Peter Seiler was the leader of Tritonus and played on/produced  Michael Bundt's albums. They recorded together before as the superfunky Intercity Sound Association, but this record here is something completely different...

Deep, distorted and moogy electronic meets ambient kraut. The first side holds longer tracks and the second is filled with short but intense bits.
